BE WARY, PEOPLE OF WYNDEMERE. THE FULL MOON HAS RISEN.
It would be smart for everyone to stay indoors, even those immortal beings out there. Werewolves who are shifting tonight should be in the forest, if not, the civilians better watch their backs.
- Remember - Werewolf bites can kill a vampire.
- If humans are bitten, they will become a werewolf. However, not if the human is killed during the attack. (If you want your human to be bitten, make sure to contact the admins)
- Feel free to do any plots you’d like! Self paras, planned paras, ect are encouraged!
- Werewolves shouldn’t be involved in new gif chats for the remainder of the night, for obvious reasons. Others are welcome to react to possible howling, superstition, and the like.
- Have fun and good luck!
Hey there! We’re sticking to the more modern version of the werewolf. Just a bit larger, more vicious version of a true wolf. Think the Vampire Diaries!
BE WARY, PEOPLE OF WYNDEMERE. THE FULL MOON APPROACHES.
On Saturday evening, the dark sky will clear of all the fog. Upon this night, all werewolves should prepare to involuntarily shift at the moon’s apex. Easthaven is free for running freely, but if you so desire, you might decide to chain yourself down in precaution.
Whatever you do, don’t get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Feel free to play with plot ideas that may involve (minute) exposure, violence, or furthering dynamics between characters. Get creative and have fun with it!
In case you’re curious, we’re running on California time! That means GMT-8. Please keep in mind that you can keep previous conversations going, but don’t start new ones in the middle of the transformation (unless you intend for things to get messy) without permission!

Jack Langdon | 23/43 | Vampire | Sam Riley | TAKEN
↳ “What the hell does it matter anymore nowadays?”
✔ — reserved, intelligent, charming
✘ — quick-tempered, cynical, flighty
Hugo Langdon was seemingly the ideal father. With a beautiful blonde wife and three gorgeous children who all shared her golden locks, anyone who might have looked at the family would have felt them nothing less than perfect. Yet beneath this ideal image, the man was nothing but a compulsive adulterer. Women on the side across the country, he happened to father a little brown haired boy with a lovely French woman living in Virginia he met in 1968. Two years later, Jack was born as the result of his father’s affair. At four months old, it was the last time he and his mother heard word from his father. His mother was a bitter woman who constantly made it well known to young Jack who his father was and how hostile she was towards him for leaving her to raise him alone. He was forced to suffer her abuse his entire childhood and well into near adulthood until shortly after his graduation when she dropped dead. At the age of seventeen years old, he set out west with friends reminiscent in the style of their favorite beatniks, Sal Paradise, Carlo Marx, Dean Moriarty, and the like of On the Road fame. And so out to the West they went with only a few dollars to their names and nothing but the road before them.
It was in Washington state that Jack’s life changed. They had come into town with news of this being the last destination of Jack’s father. The trio — nicknamed respectively from the characters of the book — found themselves at a bar in a lower part of town. A few drinks in and Jack, or better known as Sal, met a doll-eyed redhead and took her to the dance floor. It was unfortunate that the lovely lady had a husband who had come looking for her that night, and the group was chased from the bar and into the back alley to deal with the matter. Always quick-tempered, Jack became involved in a simply fist fight — until a knife was pulled. He was beat nearly unconscious and left by the men to bleed in the streets fearing the worst should the authorities come. But a man — a nobody at the bar that night — came at the sound of the fight and offered Jack a choice: die nameless in the streets all alone or live forever. Drunk and delirious with blood loss, he chose the latter. It wasn’t until he awoke days later miraculously healed and with a new craving that he began understanding what he had become.
Since his change in 1991, he’s been drifting from town to town, though never staying for long because he fears finding himself too attached to people. For the first few years of his new existence, they were lived recklessly with little thought for those he killed. Nowadays, he harbors much guilt for what he had done, and he is working towards fixing those wrongs, yet he can’t help but find his thoughts dwindling on the past occasionally. With his move into Wyndemere nearly four months ago, Jack cannot help but hope that this town may be the new start he has been looking for.
